Apapa Port Lagos

Intels Nigeria Limited recognized quite early the potential role of Lagos State in the future development of deep-water blocks in Western Nigeria, entering into an agreement with Eko Support Services Limited, which enables our clients to perform in the Lagos area. The Port Area re-development was completed in May 2014.

Camp Facilities + Port Facilities

Intels Nigeria Limited recognized the potential role of Lagos State in the future development of deep water blocks in Western Nigeria, therefore the importance of Lagos Apapa Port.

Such redevelopment, completed in May 2014, provided ESS with 400m jetty and an overall total area of approx. 70,000sqm, risulted in the only base in Lagos Port Complex having a 14 LLW. The port includes offices and a 500sqm warehouse.

Eko Support Services Port Description

Aiming to improve the quality of support provided to the Oil and Gas industry in the western oil blocks, NPA awarded ESS with the redevelopment of the existing port facilities located at the Bullnose of Lagos Port Complex. The redevelopment which was completed in May 2014, provided ESS with 400m jetty and an overall total area of approx. 70,000sqm, and it is the only base in Lagos Port Complex having a 14 LLW.

The facilities available include 55,000 sqms Stacking Area; 1,000 sqms warehouse (with plan for further expansion) and 500 sqms office space.

Equipment

As in all Intels’ operational bases, the Eko Base at Apapa Lagos has avant-garde equipment to effectively support operations and requirements of clients. The main goal is to speed up and simplify the loading and unloading operations.

The equipment available include Cranes, Forklifts, Rim, Trucks, Pipe Handlers, Generators. Thanks to many co-operation agreements with the main producers in the world, our customers will be able to take advantage of state-of-the-art equipment, thereby increasing their work performances due to the efficiency of our services.
