In the late 1980s, Warri New Port was built on the basis of the One-Stop-Shop idea, to cover the Western Delta area and attract oil companies with cost-effective benefits. An ongoing NPA plan to increase the available draft from the entry channel up to the commercial jetties is in progress as well.
