Onne Port Terminal F.L.T.

Onne Port Complex is the largest Oil and Gas Free Zone in the world. All of the major industry players operate from here, from the exploration, development and completion phases to production and wells workover in the Nigerian offshore and onshore reserves. Its main features are the two major terminals – Federal Ocean Terminal (FOT) and Federal Lighter Terminal (FLT) and the Onne estate facilities.
Under-used and only partially built, Intels Nigeria Limited refurbished the Onne complex from 1982 until 1995, when the first ocean vessel moored at FOT’s (Federal Ocean Terminal) Berth No. 1., eventually becoming the only harbourage for deep offshore support. Today the port is divided into two areas: a Federal Lighter terminal (FLT) and a Federal Ocean terminal (FOT).

Onne Oil Service Center complex enjoys a strategic position in the Guinea Gulf to establish a distribution hub, which has served onshore and offshore Oil and Gas projects since then, in Nigeria and throughout the Sub-Saharan Region.

Onne Port has two Terminals (FLT & FOT) with 6,000 metres of jetty, 8-12m draft; 2,840,000 square metres of Industrial Area; 160,500 square metres of Quay Apron; 161,500 square metres of Warehouses; 37,500 square metres of offices..

Conceived as a logistics base for the storage, handling and processing of light goods, the FLT terminal offers exclusive logistic solutions to numerous Nigerian and international oil companies in an area of 398 Ha.
The port is located by an inland creek of the river Bonny, where a draft that measures 12 m depth (reduced to 8m further inland) permits docking and safe navigation of both vessels and boats. The quay has a total length of 1676m and is equipped for any type of vessel, its apron and dedicated equipment and personnel allows a rapid discharging of goods. Its logistics areas are under concession of our clients and have different characteristics, depending on the intended use: warehouses, workshops, processing and storage areas. Machinery and vehicles undergo a system of checks and maintenance in order to provide an excellent service.

The Onne FLT port is a declared Free Zone, thus bringing all the benefits, advantages and incentives of a Free Zone environment that companies can enjoy.
